Florence was a neighbour on McCarthy Blvd for many years. She was a neighbour any one would have wanted. She was friendly and would always have time for a chat. We shared a common bond of our love for dogs. She even gave us a bag full of toys when her dear Gidget passed away. She was always up for getting in on the multi family garage sales we held every summer or two. Even letting us put signs on her lawn! She talked frank and laughed easy. She would tell us stories from her long time spent at Sears. There was nothing feeble about her. Florence's yard was always tidy and looking it's best. She was not just a neighbour but a friend. We were sad when she had to move off McCarthy. We know Debra, her niece who gave us the sad news that Florence passed away. She will be missed! She was one of the good ones!
