Mary was my teacher at Jarema School from Grades 2-7, I have such fond memories of our little country school. A few years ago, my sister Diane and I were in Victoria, we went out for lunch with Mary. We had a wonderful leisurely lunch reminiscing about days long past. My condolences to you and your family Wayne, your mom was such a lovely lady. Shirley Peleshytyk

Mary was always an enthusiastic participant in whatever endeavors she pursued. We knew that if Mary was a part of teacher association activities there would be a very positive attitude and lots of laughs. She had a real zest for life. My sincere sympathy to Mary's family. Gloria Rathgeber

So sad to hear of Mary's passing. She was such an awesome supporter of Westview United Church in Yorkton. Her involvement in the UCW and choir always made for a fun event. She was also one of my parents favourite neighbours. Heaven has received another beautiful Angel. Our sincere sympathy. Sharon and Harvey Litvanyi

I was sorry to learn of Mary's passing. She and Nick were our next door neighbours in Yorkton and she encouraged me to return to teaching after my 9 years of staying at home raising our sons. Mary was always enthusiastic and positive about whatever she loved to do - whether teaching youngsters to read, or being busy with her garden and flowers - even if is was early in the morning before heading off to school ! We loved her excitement when we visited with her in recent years. She loved life! - Beth Berg

Wayne, Cindy, and Erin; We are so sad to hear of your mom's passing. i remember her as not only a great Mom to you Wayne, but also as so kind to myself and your other friends. There were many times when she would not let us go home before she fed us. Later on, she helped Sharon and I find our first home. We would always run into her in Yorkton, and she would always catch us up on your news. We grieve along with you, but know you will find solace in your many great memories of her. With Love Peter and Sharon ,
