Obituary of Luna Mary Straightnose

Luna Mary Straightnose took her first breath on December 28th, 2020 at 5:26 p.m. Unfortunately, her arrival was unexpected and too soon. Baby Luna had fought as hard as she could on her mother's chest until the Creator saw how much she was struggling. At 6:14 p.m. on December 28th, 2020 baby Luna took her last breath and the Creator took her home. Though her time was short, Luna was loved the whole time by her mother, father and older sister Laylah. Now she has gone home to be their little guardian angel who will watch over them until it is time for them to be reunited. Luna was predeceased by her uncles Travis Tourangeau, Norman Jr Straightnose, Jonathan Demontigny and Coleman Genaille as well as her aunties Tara Lee Musqua and Faith Genaille. She leaves to cherish her memory, her parents Derian Straightnose and Alilya Genaille; older sister Laylah Autumn Jo Straightnose; paternal grandparents Norman and Margaret Straightnose (Yorkton, SK); maternal grandparents Garry Genaille (Winnipegosis, MB) and Joanne Demontigny (Yorkton, SK); uncles Brett Straightnose (Yorkton, SK), Ronald Demontigny (Brandon, MB), Shaun Buffalo (Yorkton, SK), Angus Genaille (Ashley) (Morinville, AB), Cody Genaille (Yorkton, SK), Wade Genaille (Tynneal) (Yorkton, SK), Dontae Demontigny (Yorkton, SK); Aunts Tania Tourangeau (Melville, SK), Kiana Straightnose (Yorkton, SK), Erin Genaille (Calgary, AB), Nina Cote (Stanley) (Yorkton, SK), Stevie Rae Demontigny (Fritz) (Yorkton, SK), Jessie Genaille (Yorkton, SK), Britney Genaille (Yorkton, SK), Hannah Swain (Yorkton, SK); numerous cousins, family and friends. The Funeral for Luna Mary Straightnose was held on December 30, 2020 from the Chapel of Bailey's Funeral Home in Yorkton, SK with Pastor Rick Flamont ministering to the family.
