Violet was my mother's (Nettie Hull) first cousin and I was so fortunate to get to know Violet and Andy during our (Zatwarnitski/y) reunions in Sheho. Violet and Andy were always so welcoming. They had my mother and I stay over, serving wonderful meals and great evenings of reminisces. Their memories of the past were so memorable and positive. I was aware of the hardships of their times but they only saw the bright side. What wonderful times Violet, Andy and family had experienced. They are all together now, celebrating. I have kept in touch with Violet and will miss her. Margaret Thatcher (Toronto) (Toronto)

My deepest sympathy to the Hnatuk family. Your parents visited with my parents (Peter & Elsie Karmaznuik) on the farm. Often they would stop on a Sunday afternoon for a visit.

Deepest sympathy to the Hnatuk family. She lived her life to the fullest, embracing each day with laughter, and optimism. She welcomed all to her home with generosity and lovingly prepared delicious home cooked meals. She had a positive influence on the thousands of school children she taught through the years. She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends who knew and loved her.

She was my aunt, my school principal, and my friend. She was a strong woman, with a BIG heart. I will fondly remember her uproarious laugh, her teasing personality and sharing fun times playing "troika" at the Gladstone. She loved to dance and danced a lot at her 90th birthday party. That is how I will remember her.
