A bright light extinguished way before her time. I did not know Kendall but I did know her mom, Merle, who I always felt was one of the best teachers I had growing up. I am so sorry for your loss. Mr. Sherwin, you were my principal in high school and Mrs. Sherwin, you were my home room grade 9 teacher. I graduated with Kendall and always appreciated how happy she was. She had a great smile! She was the kind of person who put others first. I ran in to her many times in Saskatoon while she journeyed through Paytonu2019s health challenges and I spent many hours in the hospital with my mom. I saw an unbelievable strength and courage in Kendall. I admired that! She is truly one amazing lady! I feel blessed that our paths crossed later in life. Her passing was truly shocking and I felt numb when I read the news. Please know that your daughter and mother has touched so very many lives and she will life on in the hearts of many. I know this is not a time to be selfish but I canu2019t help it. I didnu2019t know her for very long (2019) but we became fast friends and like the sister I always wanted. Distance then COVID kept me from seeing Kendall like we planned. I miss the things we talked about doing that will never happen. We were supposed to cook each other our favourite meals and u2018feastu2019. We were looking forward to when could get together and talk and laugh. She was supposed to teach me how to do my eyeliner like she does! Iu2019ll never get it right. Kendall I miss you. I miss how you listened on the phone and gave great advice when I had problems with my daughter. I miss your laugh and amazing spirit. We will all miss you. The world seems more dull now. Iu2019m already looking for dimes and know you are listening to me when I still talk to you. I am glad you are not in pain anymore.
