We grew up with Joe and Arlene as very close neighbors, living across the street. As children, we would always play with Joey. Arlene would come over and have coffee and visit with my Mom, Gladys. Or she would come over and visit with my Mom in the yard or garden. My Mom liked her for a neighbor and as a friend. She spoke well of her and was very fond of her. They got along very well. Sometimes she would babysit us. As children, we'd play in her yard. She would come outside and talk to us and ask us how we were and how our mother was. She was always very kind to all of us. She was a lovely lady. I'm very sorry for your loss Joey and your family. My heartfelt condolences to U and your family. May Arlene rest in beautiful peace!
