Obituary of Hattie Severight

Hattie Severight of Yorkton, beloved Mother of Michelle, Kim & Brenda Lee passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at the age of 55 years. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 5 at 1:00p.m. at the Chapel of Bailey's Funeral Home and also at 6:00p.m from Cote First Nation. The Memorial Service will take place on Friday, December 6 at 3:00p.m. also from Cote First Nation. Hattie Severight was born on November 26, 1964 in White Beech, Saskatchewan. During her fifty-five years she was a life-long student who enjoyed learning about anything and everything, and especially liked tinkering in plumbing and heating. Hattie was also creative and spent much of her time making jewelry. In her spare time, she loved to watch movies and has an extensive collection of VHS and DVD's. As a soft-spoken woman, Hattie enjoyed visiting with everyone - making friends wherever she went. It was her sarcastic humour that could catch a person off guard and bring a smile to your face. She did not shy away from sharing her opinions, and was happy to offer advice. Hattie was pre-deceased by her mother, Wendy Severight and her brother, Rodney Severight as well as many other relatives. Left to cherish her memory and mourn her loss are her daughters and their families: Michelle (Marshall), Madison and Brooklyn; Kim (Gerhard), Dorian; and Brenda Lee (Michael) and their bunny Lenny.
