Missing you Aunty. Loved all the good times and laughter we shared when we came to the Fort to visit you. Your saying was "lets live it up" and we certainly did! Love, Mike @ Sharon (Niece) Surrey, B.C.

It was an honor to be asked by Aunt Mary to take her notebook of Handwritten memories and put them together into a book called "Memories of "To Boots"! She loved to write about her family and obviously had a great respect for the hardships and good times they experienced during the Great Depression! She vividly imagined every scene which took place in her childhood and wrote with a unique flare! Sometimes I had to 'edit' some descriptions because of her colorful language! *smiles* Last time my husband John and I visited with her (and met my Dad's brother Stan for the very first time), Uncle Stan and her gave us an extensive history tour of my Father's (Andy Stoppa) birthplace! The words and memories in her book came to life for me visually as she re-told stories of her childhood while we waked around the house where my Dad was born! Aunt Mary was definitely 'one of a kind' and had a vibrant personality! You couldn't help but love her! She had a infectious smile and treated all family with respect! I have only ‘good' memories of her! I look forward to "living it up" with her eventually in Heaven! My condolences to ALL family! Love Donna (and John) Toews

I didn't know our Aunt Mary all that well but the times that I was with her I remember her as a smart, very funny, loving person. When we came to visit a few years ago we had a great time with her. she showed us the sights in Fort Qu'Appelle and wanted to "live it up" I wish I had gotten to know my uncles and her better. Thank you Laurie and Nora for looking after her all those years. God bless you. I am sure Aunt Mary is now having a great time with Uncle George and her siblings. Her smile and laugh will be missed, Rest In Peace . Alan & Shirley Stoppa

Aunt Mary lent her smile to brighten anyone's day. She possessed a way with wit that generated spontaneous laughter and a lovely compliment at the ready, that brightened and lightened many hearts. Those attributes will help her be remembered with fondness, love and a touch of laughter. Her generous nature touched many over the years. Those years just shy of 99! Years well lived and you were tired. God knew all this, opened his arms and received you home! Tired no longer. XOXO Laurie and Norah

Aunt Mary was a forever joyous and loving soul. She loved her brothers and sister to bits and awarded the same fierce love to her nieces and nephews .Also to spouses and great nieces and nephews. Uncle George was her partner in love and I am grateful that all are reunited. Noted for the twinkle in her eye that indicated fun or a secret, she will be missed for all of the warm love that she gave to us . I am so thankful that my cousin Laurie and his amazing wife Norah were her champions in later years. My cousin Sharon added joy to the Stopa effect. Thank you,God, for receiving our much adored matriarch.Aunt Mary, know PEACE. Love, Elisabeth Stoppa Ebbels

My dear Auntie who was a kind, loving person, always helping others and did like to 'live it up' whenever we visited her from Surrey, B.C. Going for rides and eating out was the favorite thing to do. Our condolences go out to family in Sask., Ontario, and B.C. She is with the Lord in all the glory of Heaven. Will miss her dearly, Love Mike & Sharon (neice) Collison & Family
