Obituary of Theodore Prymak

Ted Prymak, formerly of Southey, Regina and Jasmin, beloved husband of Elaine passed away peacefully with his family by his side, August 20, 2019 after a long courageous fight with cancer. Theodore (Ted) Prymak, born December 4, 1936 at Jasmin to Nick and Pauline (Byski) Prymak. Survived by his wife of almost 25 years, Elaine, children; Camy (Dean), Lance (Jenn), step-children; Sharon (Ken), Brian (Louise), Sheldon, Bradley (Denise), Charlene (Jim), Darrell (Leanne), Melanie (Roy) & Tracy. Twenty-two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Sisters Rosie, Mary and Olga (Eugene). As well as several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Nick and Pauline Prymak as well as sister Annie (Louie). When the weather was nice you could find Ted fishing with just about anyone that would go. Right from when all the grandkids were little to just last summer. Ted loved spending time with family and friends, playing cards, gardening and tinkering away in the garage, even building the cross placed at the Kelliher Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery where he will be laid to rest. He will be missed by all his family and friends who loved him dearly. The Prayer Service was held on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at St. James Roman Catholic Church in Southey with Rev. Father Valentine Amobi V.F. officiating. The Funeral Liturgy was held on Monday, August 26, 2019 at St. Vladimir Ukrainian Catholic Church in Kelliher with Rev. Father Basil Malowany as the Celebrant. The responses were led by Ladmer Moskal and Wayne Boczulak. The cross bearer was Lathemer Dugalo and the epistle reader was Kathleen Kotylak. The interment followed in St. Vladimir Parish Cemetery with Bryan Misiurski, Kelvin Misiurski, Kelly Owerko, Glen Dugalo, Lance Prymak and Sheldon Mohr serving as the casket bearers. A eulogy was shared by Melanie Bucksaw. The family wishes to sincerely thank the staff at Shalom Nursing Home for their compassionate care and understanding.
