Obituary of Christina Paidel

Christine was born on October 26, 1934 in Killaly, Saskatchewan and attended school in the community. After leaving home, she worked at St. Peter's Hospital from 1955-1959. She married William Paidel on June 2, 1959. They moved to Regina where Christine worked at the General Hospital and Woolworths until 1962. They then purchased their farm near Killaly where they raised 4 children and farmed for 34 years. They retired to Melville in 1996. Christine was predeceased by her husband William Paidel; her parents, Peter and Theresa Leik; her husband's parents, Martin and Elizabeth Paidel; a grandson, Dean Edgar; sisters, Ella Krieser, Anita Gerhardt, Evelyn Whilidal, Elsie Rogalski, Diane Stocker; brothers, Kelly Leik, William Leik; sister-in-law, Shirley Leik and brothers-in-law, Adam Krieser, Jake Gerhardt, George Whilidal, John Ottenbreit and Edwin Rogalski. She leaves to mourn her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, Renette (Rod) Edgar, Danean and Derek; Brent (Bonnie) Paidel, Ryan (Nikki), Brea and Hayden; Connor (Alanna), Kinsley and Liam; Kate; Ashlyn (Eric) Meyer; Leanne (Mike) Biden, Noah and Sean; Wayne (Colleen) Paidel, Justin and Aaron; her sister, Eugenia Ottenbreit; sisters-in-law, Anne Rogalski, Marlene Leik, Lillian (Harry) Hoedel; brother-in-law, Victor (Leona) Stocker; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Family was the most important part of Christine. She loved to travel, bake, garden and knit. She was a dedicated member of the church all her life. Most recently, she was a member of the Rosary Sodality and Hospital Auxiliary. Christine will forever be an angel for her family. Service Details.
