Obituary of Donna Fay Nashiem

Donna Fay Nashiem was born in Moose Jaw on July 6, 1933 to Frank and Ruby (Thompson) Miller. She grew up and attended school in Riverhurst and then moved to Moose Jaw to work. It was there while working at Johnstone Cafe that she met James Nashiem and they were married on July 5, 1952. They lived in Riverhurst until December of 1977 when they moved to Churchbridge. In June of 1981 they moved to Bredenbury and spent the next 29 years there. After selling their home they moved to Frobisher for 3 years and finally settled in Melville in 2013. Donna worked variety of jobs over the years including the Village of Riverhurst, CIBC and various cooking jobs including the Imperial 400 and the Holiday Inn. Her final job before retiring was at Croll's Store in the material department. Donna loved sewing, playing bingo and watching curling. During the winter her schedule worked around when curling games where on TV. Donna was predeceased by her Mother and Father and left us on July 9, 2019. She leaves to mourn her husband of 67 years James and five children: son Gerald(Susan) and children Chad (Theresa) - Austin, Shane (Lisa) - Tyson, Brock (Jennifer) - Owen, Tennille (Mark) - Kaydence, McKenna and Alexis, Sarah (Will ) - baby on the way, and Megan (Niels) - Clara and Thea; daughter Shelley (Pete) O'Hare and children Tricia (Kim) - Riley, Shaelynn and Tanner, Derrick (Kristin) - Grady, Asher and Avaya, and Dana (Brad) - Emily, Marcus and Roman: son Rod (Heather) and children Taylor, Caelyn and Mackenzie; daughter Darla; and son Corey (Sandy) and children Tionna and Marley. She also leaves to mourn two sisters; Betty and Shirley. Mrs. Donna Nashiem of Melville, beloved wife of James Nashiem passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at the age of 86 years. At Donna's request there will be no service at this time. As per Donna's request, there will be no service at this time.
