They lived and farmed in Usherville until 1964 then moving to Churchbridge when John gained employment at IMC Potash Mine in Esterhazy Sk. February 2006 they moved to Yorkton. Following John's passing she moved to Abbotsford BC.
Annie lived a full life as a wonderful person with her smile as a trademark. She enjoyed working in restaurants while socializing with co-workers and customers. She developed a strong work ethic and loved gardening. She loved to travel to visit her family. One of her most memorable vacation was an Alaskan Cruise. She enjoyed her move to Abbotsford, she lived at Hallmark on the Lake, a beautiful picturesque park setting assisted living home. With her health failing her she then moved to Menno Nursing Home. She looked forward to going to the chapel to join in prayer and singing her favorite hymns, the entertainment and fellowship. She loved playing and winning at Bingo. She looked forward to going on the scenic bus rides admiring the beautiful trees, flowers and nature. She would sit for hours reading her celebrity and entertainment magazines. Her favorites were The Royal Family and of course John Travolta. She and her best friend Florence would spend countless hours reminiscing, laughing and colouring each day. She would often comment how truly blessed she felt to have lived such a loving and wonderful life.
Annie faced her health challenges with incredible strength and determination. Our heartfelt thanks to the exceptional staff at Menno Place for their kindness and loving compassionate care. In Love she will be Remembered. In Memory she will Live. Service Details.
