Obituary of Della Aubin

Della Josephine Aubin of Melville, Saskatchewan passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at the age of 70. Della was born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan on October 1, 1948, daughter to Henry and Elza (Douglas) Aubin. She grew up in St. Brieux, Saskatchewan and in 1956 the family moved to Saskatoon. Della worked at various jobs throughout her younger years. In 1985 Della moved to Melville where she met Ross Yannoulis and helped raise his four children. While being a stepmother, Della also worked in the restaurant business along side Ross in various restaurants they had through out their time together. Della had a passion for flowers and started making silk flower arrangements for family and friends. She then started to work at the flower shop at the Parkland Mall in Yorkton in which she later purchased. She continued the business for a number of years. After retiring from the flower shop she enjoyed being with her grandchildren. Della missed working with people, therefore she started part time at Giant Tiger in Yorkton and helped her partner with his business. Once her health started to deteriorate, she decided to stay home to tend to the household. Della had a huge love for animals, her cats (Rebel and Bandit) and her dog (Appollo). You would always find one in her arms or at her feet. Predeceased by her father, Henry Aubin and son-in-law, Jason Schoffer. Della is survived by her mother, Elza Aubin; brother, Alvin (Edna) Aubin; sister, Shelley (Paul) Levenick; son, Billy Smith; daughter, Holly Schoffer: daughter, April (Kevin) Regnier: daughter, Sandra (Heinz) Wanders; step-daughter, Kelley (Brian) Yannoulis; step-son, Steven Yannoulis, step-son, Michael (Milijana) Yannoulis and step-son, Jamie (Char) Yannoulis; Ross Yannoulis; as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren all left to cherish Della's memory.
