We just received a phonecall from a relative in Winnipeg sharing with us that a cousin of ours, Norm Gares, had passed away. We had last spoken with Norm just before Christmas this past December and had a lovely time reminiscing with him. Norm had been so gracious to us when we came to visit him in Melville a number of years ago. We had been pleased when he and his son had come out here to Vancouver and spent some time with us a,few years later, during their visit to the West Coast. We'll always remember Norm as a gracious, soft-spoken gentleman. Our deepest sympathy to the Gares family. Bob & Judith Spitznagel North Vancouver, BC
