Ann and I had such a small amount of time together. Really only a few weeks here and there. She left a BIG impression on me. I often think of her as I prepare food and get a meal ready and I learned to take her advice on cleaning up as I went through the cooking process. She had a gift for cooking one Tom shared with her and trust me our family was delighted that Tom did a lot of cooking!!! We were so excited as a family to travel West when Jodi was young to meet her family. My Mom traveled with us and we have so many memories of our adventures. Tom made sure of that!! Spending time with Mum and Dad in Saskatoon was one of the hi-lights of our trip. I know this is a most difficult time and we feel a bit distanced from all of you. Please know that we too grieve Mum's death. I think she was a brave and courageous lady. To raise 6 children and blend two families into one takes skill and and very big wide open heart. God bless you Mum. May you be with those who have gone before rejoicing in your reunion. May you all feel blessed as we do ...to have been fortunate enough to have spent time with Mum.
