Obituary of Clancy McGerrigle
MCGERRIGLE - Clancy Alayne McGerrigle was born on June 25, 1989 in Yorkton SK, the youngest daughter of Patric and Bonnie. She attended elementary school at Dr Brass and MC Knoll, where she both delighted and bewildered her teachers. She attended high school at Yorkton Regional, where she was an honour roll student and excelled at sports, especially volleyball. During high school she worked part-time at Shoppers Drug Mart in the cosmetics department, and it was here that she developed a love of aesthetics. She enrolled in a medical aesthetics course in Surrey BC; upon graduation, she worked at Yaletown Laser Clinic for five years and then for the past two years at View Laser in Tsawwassen BC. She took pride in her work and developed special relationships with her patients, her boss and co-workers. She loved living in Vancouver because of the opportunity, the lifestyle, and the people, especially one certain guy she met there - Fraser Munn. Clancy and Fraser were together for six years; made a life together in their dream apartment with their nightmare cat Winnie. They thought it was so special they shared a birthday, they were even planning a wedding around that date this coming June. Clancy is survived by her fiancé Fraser, parents Patric and Bonnie, sisters Shaylyn (Jason) McKechnie, Kellen McGerrigle, grandfather Stan Waselenchuk, grandmother Mary McGerrigle, beloved cat Winnie and all her special aunts, uncles and cousins. She also had many friends who will miss her vivacious personality, humour and compassion. She was beautiful, funny, quirky, annoying, lovable, smart, vibrant, amazing. When you told her you loved her, she'd just shrug and say "What's not to love?" There is so much more to say, but this is all we can say through the tears right now. But we promise someday we will say so much more, and share her memory for the rest of our lives. Service Information
