Obituary of Bill Lazaroff
The family of William "Bill" Lazaroff, beloved husband of Adeline, sadly announce his passing on Thursday, June 15, 2023. He was 87 years of age.
The Memorial Service will be held on Monday, July 10th at 2:00pm from the Yorkton Memorial Gardens Family Centre.
Memorial donations may be made to the the Alzheimer Society or the Health Foundation for Recreation at the Yorkton and District Nursing Home.
Bill was born on April 21, 1936 in the Canora Hospital. He began his teaching career in 1956 in a one-room school. He and his family moved to Watrous in 1963 where he taught science and math for grades seven and eight. Bill retired in 1988 and joined Adeline in business at the Watrous Sewing Centre. After their joint retirement they moved to Yorkton in 2008. Bill loved the excitement of the Hockey Pool and the serenity of their cabin.
Bill was predeceased by his parents Mike and Mary; his brothers Mike and John; his grand-daugther Sapphire. He is lovingly remembered by his wife Adeline; his daughters Debora (Bill) and Louise (Les); his five grandchildren Sarah (Gregg), Dylan (Andi), Vanessa, Tessa (Shaina) Tiberious; great-granddaughter Joni; his sister Linda and many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are entrusted to Bailey's Funeral Home and Cremation Care, Yorkton.
