I am saddened to read of Mr. Chorney’s passing. I have fond memories of being a student in his classes. He was fair and kind and his corny jokes were something I looked forward to.
As a former resident of the Tullymet District, he used to remind me that he taught my older sisters, was friends with my parents and used to bounce me on his knee, when I was a baby. Honestly made me feel kind of special.
This is a lovely tribute to an obviously very giving man.
My sincere condolences to you, Mrs Chorney, and your boys and their families. May God’s Love and your memories help to comfort you.
