Wally was always in good spirits when we'd come to the farm to visit or when he and Sharon were in Yorkton and we were able to get together for a meal. I'll never forget the shock of having very carefully organized the seating chart and headcount for our "Covid-wedding" where provincial limitations were in effect, at first believing neither of Adrian's parents would be available to attend only to see as we entered a very familiar and unexpected set of eyes above a mask in one of St. Andrews pews. It all worked out as we had last minute guest cancellations and the ushers already knew Wally, but man what a welcome surprise on that day. All the best my good man and thanks for being so welcoming!
