Our deepest sympathy to Ollie's family. She was a wonderful lady with a beautiful singing voice and was very artistic, decorating many wedding cakes in her day. She made ours 41 years ago. It was a privilege to care for her during her stay at the Lodge, and she will be missed tremendously there. As one of the cooks there, I would often have the chance to visit with her as she came by the kitchen door to see what was happening in there. I would ask if she wanted to help with the dishes, but she would quickly back out of the doorway and say no I don't want to do that!! She was such a pleasure to have around.
