She was born and raised in Canton, Taishun, China on February 16, 1933. She was the eldest daughter of the four children to predeceased Lee Dong Bok (Father) and Wong Yuet Ming (Mother). She came to Canada and resided in Esterhazy and got married on March 15, 1965 to Jock Ming Wong. Happily ever after, in 1966 she gave birth to her son, Ge. Then shortly after, they ventured out to Bredenbury to operate Ming's Cafe and began sponsoring many families from China to give them an opportunity for a better life. Lillian and Ming taught each family how to cook and operate a restaurant business. Surely, giving each family the keys to success in a new country. They are both truly amazing people with a heart of gold, without a selfish bone in their body. Lillian was a very humble and quiet lady with very few words to say. Although she spoke with her actions always gave a true notion of compassion. She was always actively listening and had a great memory, especially when it came to numbers. She would remember people's phone numbers, dates of when families immigrated to Canada and every family member's birthday. Trust me, there's more than 100 family member's. She truly could never be fooled. With all the families Ming and Lillian sponsored, they had tons of help at the restaurant. Consequently the extra help led to plenty of free time, allowing Lillian to develop the passion for fishing. She could go out everyday and was very competitive when it came to who could catch the most or the biggest fish. Of course, she always would win as she thrived against competition. Every Monday, she loved spending time with relatives playing MJ (MahJong) and would not miss it for the world. On occasions, she would like to go to the casino and golf as well. Lillian did not have a passion for gardening, though she loved watching her house plants progress everyday. But most of all, she cared for her family deeply making sure they are all well fed and cared for. Her grandchildren, Lexus and Keana meant the world to her and she loved spending every minute with them. With Lillian's generosity, integrity, kindness, support, and compassion , she has impacted many people's lives and will be forever and deeply missed. We will always treasure her memories in our hearts. May you rest in peace mom/grandma/wife until we meet again! We would also like to thank each and everyone of you that travelled to see my mom for one last time. Also, thank you for the flowers, donations, cards and the kind words all of you had sent. On behalf of the family, we wish you all good health, happiness and stay safe! é
