My condolences to the Pryslaks. I recently found out of Glenn's passing at Christmas and it shook my world up. I met Glenn in Kelowna in 2018, we were great freinds and traveled to Seattle and had many great talks as I listened to him talk very fondly of his "ma" and sister who he just loved dearly. He loved when you came for a visit too, it was the highlight of his year. Not only was he a beautiful soul , but boy did he love and know music and of course his good old Dallas Cowboys. What a character always looking for an adventure. To his best guy Rob in Maui - he adored you and looked up to you like a brother. Still can't believe your gone, but you will never, ever be forgotten. Thank you for all the smiles and laughs G. Rest Easy my friend.

I worked with Glen for a time at Glen Eden Funeral Home. Glen was one of the hardest workers I ever had the pleasure of working with. He truly cared for the families, decedents, and his coworkers at the funeral home. I remember when his company credit card arrived, he took myself and some coworkers out for a night on the town I will never forget.

I worked with Glen at Cropo Funeral Home - he was my sponsor and taught me to embalm as well. After moving on from Cropo i had the pleasure of working with him again at Chapel Lawn. We had many a good laugh - always called me Grandson - and like Mark Reimer shared - far too many times "I eight the sandbox". Real character - great guy and a very hard worker! He will be missed for sure! My sympathies to his family and many friends. Gerald Knutson

I met Glen many years ago working at Chapel Lawn in Winnipeg. He was my sponsor and taught me to embalm. We spent a lot of time together and with Glen it was always a good time. I learned so much from him and I will miss his unmistakable laugh!! He had a quick wit and a great smile. I'm so sorry to have learned of his death and wish I could have met up with him in the last few years as we had lost contact. Thank you for all you poured into my life Glen. Condolences to his entire family. "I one the sandbox." Quote from the start of one of his many corny jokes. Mark Reimer Doyle's Funeral Home

I hired Glen to manage Glen Eden Funeral Home in Winnipeg and later he worked for me as a Director at Chapel Lawn, Glen was a kind soul and gave his very best in a role he was not cut out for. He had no quit in him and showed tremendous character when the corporate leadership failed him. We did stay in touch a little on Facebook, and on rare occasion in person... he always had a great smile and a warm greeting.... It was shocking to read of his passing as he told me he was working hard at moving forward in life. Condolences to all his family and close friends Iu2019ll remember him fondly

What a sad day hearing about Glen, my sincere condolences to all of his family and friends. Glen and I both trained here in Winnipeg to become funeral directors and embalmers. In fact when he came to Cropo my old teacher, the late: Ray Labelle also taught Glen. Glen was a good man, and helped so many families throughout his years, in bringing closure at the time of death and took a lot of care in preparing families loved ones. I'm so sorry for your loss, he was a good man, and very good at serving others, and will be sorely missed. His legacy will remain in all those he helped in grief. Rest in peace old friend. I just learned this evening of Glenny's passing. I have no adequate words to express my sorrow and sadness at this news, and my sympathy goes out to his family. We lost touch when he moved back to Saskatchewan from Kelowna a few years ago. Susan and the boys also all remember him so well from visiting us a couple of times out here in Ontario after we moved here in 1994. We will never forget guiding them through the city on the cell phone as they hit the major 400 series highways for the first time in their lives. 'Just stay in the right lane Glenny and you'll be ok!' There is also a most memorable Dodge Seminar he attended in Florida. But mostly all the years in Winnipeg at Cropo Chapel in the 10 years I worked that region. Subsequently in Kelowna at least every other year when the BC convention was held there, we always got together. My ribs would ache from laughing so hard! Every now and again the phone would ring and it was Glenny. We would talk for hours. I just let the boys know, and we are all very sad. Here, we had hoped to maybe get together again soon, but how the years fly by. Eternal Memory Glenny! Rest in Peace dear friend.
