My thoughts and prayers are being sent to the family of the late Ronald Stewart at this very sad time with the loss of your Dad, Grampa, Brother and Uncle. I remember all of his family and their General Store being in Starbuck ,Mb. My family was of Oscar & Alma Olson. We had some good memories and some sad ones too. Then we all had to grow up and move away from Starbuck as well. Our family had a lot of changes too Still nice to have those memories of long ago. Marlys Pearse nee Olson

My Uncle Ronnie. As a youngster I remember our visits to Dauphin. The grown-ups going to curl and social outings that would bring them home claiming "when the pumpkin was on the pumpkin vine, it was dinky dunkin' time." He was always up to cook whatever game they had hunted from the season. When Uncle Ronnie would fall asleep in the recliner it was always interesting to witness the methods Aunt Marilyn would use to try to get him to go to bed. Uncle Ronnie had a generous and kind spirit. If there was a fruit in season, he made sure he ordered lots. Pies for all! The distance we had over the years meant we didn't see each other often but you were always in my heart. Now and always. Love Pamela

My big brother Ronnie. I am remembering all the fun times as kids. All the hockey, football, baseball and curling games. The dances, the drive-in movies taking as many kids that would fit in the Willys jeep. Good times. Eventually, we all live in the adult world. Living with Joe and I in Winnipeg. Playing monopoly and cards until the wee hours. You brought Marilyn into our family along with two beautiful daughters, and eventually grandchildren. I know how you loved to grow great gardens that would have feed the neighbourhood. It showed your kind heart. There were many good times... too numerous to mention. Some sad times. I will remember it all and you will never be forgotten. I love you. Audrey

Ron and Marilyn were such good friends of ours for over fifty years. It's hard to believe they're both gone. We shared fun and tears. Our sympathy to Darcee and Bobbi-Jo and families. Love the Szewczyk, Pat, Dawn and Mark.
