Sorry for your loss folks. Have not been out there in a few years, but fondly remember chewing the fat with Allan, before spending quality time wandering around the yards. Still have the couple projects I got from him, and wish I could have made the trip more often. He was great to visit with, and was a real human being. I'm sure many will miss him.

My deepest condolences to all of Allan's family. I have known Allan through working with him for the last 30 years when his dad Steve originally had the scrap recycling business. Allan had a big heart. The last time I spoke with him was a couple months ago at the casino when we ran into each other while out having a smoke. He laughed and said he wasn't about to quit now ! He was telling me about going to the Casino daily, not necessarily to gamble, but just to get out and meet his buddies for coffee. He had hoped to try going back to work, if only to operate the loader. He was not a quitter ! I know I will miss his face around the office.

Sincere sympathy to Allan's family. Allan was close with Kenny's late brother David back in the day. Thinking of you all at this very sad time. We will not be able to attend his service. RIP Allan Kenny and Cheryl Kaban

Sherwin & Debbie Henderson We had the privilege of sharing Allan's last Christmas at Tammy & Kelly's house. Of course after supper the cards got pulled out and the 3 spot games were on. Sherwin loves playing 3 spot as well and ended up being partners with Allan against Kelly and Bonnie. Before the game began, Allan asked Sherwin from across the table, 'Are you any good?' Sherwin replied 'I'm not too bad.' I believe they did win their fair share of the games. That was one thing for sure that we observed, not only was he a very hard working man, Allan sure loved spending time with his family. We sure will miss seeing him when we come out to visit Tam & Kelly. He was the quietest, gentle man, with the strongest presence I think we have ever known. RIP Allan. Our deepest condolences to Kelly, Chad & Evan and their families for the loss of such an amazing dad, father in law and grandfather.
